@mast0d0nphan well let's see what the Finnish authorities actually do. I will agree Google overplayed their hand if:
- the construction of these datacenters is legally denied; and
- Google is forced to replant the trees; and
- somebody from Google actually personally goes to jail.
That is a crime against the nature, and with our climate crisis, a crime against humanity. How dare they. Fine google. Fine them so much money that google wouldn't dare ever illegally destroy again. Make it cost them hundreds of billions of dollars. $1 billion for every tree they felled.
