Today is the day!
Around this time of year, every year, the 1 billionth rider of the NYC subway system boards their train.
A billion rides, a billion trips ... and many more before the year is over.
The MTA always has a goofy media event about this when they get to 999,990,000 rides or so. I love it.
Maybe the billionth rider will be YOU.
