For transparency, it was my fault that Apple rejected our app!
A third party library added an entitlement (background audio) that they couldn't find a reason for, which we removed, and we needed a EULA that users need to review before signing in (https://pixelfed.org/app/legal)
The two other things were proving that we have a proper Block feature, and that we also have a Report feature.
I'm confident they will approve our app now!

@dansup yeah Apple are sticklers for a block feature.
When I worked on Workplace (Meta’s sadly defunct enterprise comms platform) they suddenly rejected us for that. I was the only engineer on the team in the US at the time, so I had to do a call with Apple to work through it. Our issue was, people _shouldn’t_ be able to block colleagues on a work platform, that’s an HR issue!
I negotiated us 90 days grace for app updates, and let our PMs figure out what to do :)
@amyworrall Oh dang, yeah I can see the reasoning behind not needing a block feature for that type of app.
We do luckily support it in Pixelfed, and it is only a tap away on posts in feeds and on profiles, but they still wanted a screen recording lol
