The last time you voted, how did you cast your vote?
@evan now do early voting vs on the day
@evan
Other: Proxy. I live in Japan but am a UK citizen. I can only vote in UK national elections. First vote from here I tried to use a postal vote. It arrived the days before the election, well too late to send it back. Since then I nominated a proxy. My proxy votes by mail from within the UK, for me.
@evan in oregon we have drop boxes, so i always drop it in one of those. used to vote by mail but these days i don't trust the mail for that.
@evan in person, but UK here soo
I dropped my ballot in one of the several convenient and secure ballot boxes in my area, provided and serviced by the county auditor's elections department, of course
"Other": filled out mail-in ballot, walked to election clerk's office, handed it to them in person.
Return? I had to drive to a church and fill out the ballot there there was no taking the ballot home with me. I answered in person.
@thedaemon "ballot return" is a term of art, but I changed it to "cast your vote" instead to be clearer.
@evan in person, at a library, 4 weeks before the voting day, but with a photo id (everyone has them here)
Other: Official county VBM dropbox.
@evan I mailed my ballot last week. It has to cross an ocean
@evan drive-up ballot box. Colorado does offer in-person voting but 99% of folks fill out theirs at home and either mail it in or walk/drive it to a local box.
@evan Faxing from overseas using a PDF-to-fax website service because I don't have a time machine or a telephone line.
@evan drop box in the library parking lot
@evan Ballot drop box
Are we including only public elections, or any elections?
@only_ohm good question! You decide.
Thanks everyone! My last vote was on Monday, in person.
