hmm noticed this comment doesn’t seem to federate back to hackers pub, @hongminhee@hollo.social should federation be working between the two?
upcoming fediverse events
That would be because activitypub.space doesn't have any existing federation (not even one way) with hackers.pub
a.s received the topic through an announce by @hongminhee@hollo.social, but on its own won't receive edits unless perhaps you mention @technical-discussion 🙂
Likewise the comment reply won't propagate back as nobody from hollo.social follows this category.
That said....... It should send the replies back to you. That could be improved.
@julian @hongminhee all these issues are showing the rough edges of the fediverse. if a post goes "goes" somewhere in the fediverse it should also be able to update and get mentions and all the other things one expects, if that doesn't work, then we have issues we need to figure out!

@liaizon@social.wake.st @hongminhee@hollo.social completely agreed.
Potentially something like "follow a conversation" in the background could smooth out these rough edges.
seems like piefed is either not getting the edits or its taking a really long time
